Adidas flagship store
in Kazakhstan
New flagman store Adidas in Almaty (Kazakhstan) opened in innovative design, combining physical experience and digital tools in marketing. The Smartunit team helped implement the phygital concept in the brand’s flagship store. We sought to create an immersive effect through digital solutions, convey the dynamism of the brand and an atmosphere that reflects the spirit and style of the company.

  • Centralized content management. It is important for the brand Marketing Department to manage the displays and led screens from anywhere in the world and be able to quickly change content depending on seasonal promotions and events.
The Smartunit team introduced digital solutions
into the store interior.
At the entrance group we placed LED columns with a pixel pitch of 1.86 mm. This attracts the attention of shopping center visitors and encourages them to enter the store. Visible to customers as they enter, LED columns showcase the brand’s spirit, inviting customers to engage and explore. The displays provide customers with an immersive in-store experience.

Dynamic LED lines in the entrance welcome you and inform about bonus programs or discounts.

The centerpiece is the installation with mannequins and transparent LED screen. Such displays allow you to show video content and time see what is behind them at the same. This creates an “airiness” effect and does not disturb the overall appearance of the interior or exterior.

Displays and LED screens with a pixel pitch of 2.5 mm in store focus you individual product or showcase the latest collection with dynamic video content.

We placed a flexible LED screen with a ticker in the checkout area - it looks extraordinary and seems to float in the air.

In addition to all visual digital elements, we have implemented a centralized system for managing digital devices of the store in a single office format. This allows you to change content quickly and centrally.

Results:

Updating the store concept increased incoming customer traffic.

Digital design makes the store stand out from other boutiques in the shopping center. LED columns attract attention, customers take pictures with them and share photos on social networks.

The Adidas store in the Mega Almaty shopping center (Kazakhstan) has become not only a place for shopping but the space for interaction with the brand, where every visitor can feel its philosophy and uniqueness.
